The Experimenta Science Centre – STEM Lab, a visionary initiative by GD Naidu Charities, was founded in February 2023 under the leadership of Sri GD Gopal. This endeavor continues the remarkable legacy of the late Sri GD Naidu, fondly known as ‘the Edison of India.’ A pioneering scientist, industrialist and philanthropist from Coimbatore, Sri GD Naidu was a staunch believer in the power of practical education. His contributions include the establishment of science museums, car museums, science centre and technical institutions, all aimed at inspiring and empowering future generations.
As part of GD Naidu Charities’ educational initiatives, the STEM Lab provides interactive, hands-on learning experiences in Electronics, Automation, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, 3D Modeling & Printing and LASER Cutting/Engraving. Through grade-specific summer and winter workshops, annual STEM Club programs, internships and interactive training sessions, we equip students and educators with cutting-edge skills, preparing them to meet the evolving demands of Industry 4.0 & Industry 5.0.
Even two decades after the emergence of Industry 4.0, educational institutions worldwide are still evolving to integrate its principles. Our STEM Lab stands at the forefront of this transformation, equipping the next generation with essential practical skills to confidently navigate the future and build successful careers.
To expand access to hands-on STEM education, we collaborate with schools through Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to establish fully equipped STEM labs on their campuses. This partnership integrates advanced STEM learning into the curriculum, providing students direct exposure to robotics, electronics, coding, 3D printing and emerging technologies.
To introduce students (Grades 6–12) to advanced technologies like AI, Robotics, and IoT through hands-on learning. To develop practical skills in innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork through activity-based workshops. To empower young minds to turn ideas into prototypes with expert guidance and modern tools.
To support a vibrant STEM education that empowers the future generation to pursue and achieve their aspirations in the field of technology, aligning with the demands of the Fifth Industrial Revolution
To foster the development of innovative skill sets by cultivating curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds
GD Naidu Charities bring to life the legacy of Sri G.D. Naidu. It serves as a educational hub for science, technology and innovation
